From 1965 to 1969 I shared an office with Dick where I learned about his many services to the whole state through the Dept. of Industrial Cooperation. I carried these lessons of public service with me when I Became Vice Chancellor of Academic Affairs. Since we both retired he has always greeted me with "Hi, Boss". Thanks for the memories, and the model of service to the State we both loved.
