The Memorial Candle Program has been designed to help offset the costs associated with the hosting this Tribute Website in perpetuity. Through the lighting of a memorial candle, your thoughtful gesture will be recorded in the Book of Memories and the proceeds will go directly towards helping ensure that the family and friends of George Potter can continue to memorialize, re-visit, interact with each other and enhance this tribute for future generations.

Praying for the Family

Sis Jean Potter Tir, I never had the privilege of meeting your wonderful father, but I have met you and your wonderful husband Steven Tir and your Son Stevie Tir. Knowing you and visiting with your family in the USA and also in Slavokia and Serbia, makes me realize your father was a very godly, wonderful man. I have been keeping up with your post since he was hospitalized and praying continually for him knowing that God was with him in that valley but He is with him still today.

 

Psalm 23 (KJV)

23 The Lord is my shepherd; I shall not want.

2 He maketh me to lie down in green pastures: he leadeth me beside the still waters.

3 He restoreth my soul: he leadeth me in the paths of righteousness for his name's sake.

4 Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil: for thou art with me; thy rod and thy staff they comfort me.

5 Thou preparest a table before me in the presence of mine enemies: thou anointest my head with oil; my cup runneth over.
