The Memorial Candle Program has been designed to help offset the costs associated with the hosting this Tribute Website in perpetuity. Through the lighting of a memorial candle, your thoughtful gesture will be recorded in the Book of Memories and the proceeds will go directly towards helping ensure that the family and friends of Robin Rie can continue to memorialize, re-visit, interact with each other and enhance this tribute for future generations.

Condolence From: Barb Gordon (Weymouth)
Condolence: I write this with such a heavy heart; my family in Maine just told me the news this morning...I still can't believe that I can't pick up the phone and hear her great laugh joined to the most wonderful spirit I know. Robin and I met in 1977 at the Naval Reserve Center in Bangor. She and I hit it off immediately and while I was in Maine, she and I spent a lot of time together. I left the state in 1983, but we kept in touch. I was thrilled that she flew down for my wedding in Maryland 10 years ago (it felt as though we hadn't skipped a beat in 35 years). It seemed like Robin loved everything and everyone; she had the biggest heart of anyone that I know; she was fearless, trying new things all the time. She was so funny and we had so many laughs! I admired her and I loved her; I will miss her terribly! God Bless you, Robin! Sending a huge hug to all family and friends (if someone could touch base via email, I'd greatly appreciate it!)

Condolence: Dear Family and Friends,
I had only known Robin for a brief time through my little farm in Orrington. On her way to pick up some fresh eggs no doubt. She had brought me lots of recycled egg cartons a week before and I was delighted to have her as a customer. She took an interest in who I was and what I was doing. And I liked her very much.
This has been a painful period of time and although I did not know her well, she will be remembered here fondly. I will find a way to keep her memory alive at my farm, and help out the Bangor Humane Society as she would wish. Somehow good will come from this.

She's in God's kingdom now, surrounded by eternal love and peace.

Condolence: Family, Friends, and Michael.
I can not express how sad I am at the loss of such a great person, God threw away the mold when he made Robin, She was intelligent, well educated, caregiver, always meeting demands with a smile and chuckle.
Robin was a animal lover especially her dogs, she would send me funny photos of her dogs, she expressed how Michael loved them too.
I will miss our phone conversations, and her telling me she would eat only fresh vegetables and fruit, she didn't want preservatives in her food. I will miss going shopping when she comes down, and hunting Mickey Mouse souvenirs for Shawn.
I can only imagine that she was going to get fresh produce for dinner that night.
God has truly added a angel in heaven.
With Love,
Aunt Kay and Uncle Wayne

Condolence: No one was there tohold your hand, You Bright Beautiful Light! Darkness tried to destroy and snuff you out, but your Beautiful Light will now Shine Forever. Robin you laid down your life for others, and I'm so Blessed to have known you!! I can hear your voice with your north eastern accent that was so amusing and you always had widsom and knowledge to share as well as your Heart. I'm so sorry that I never got to share more often. You remind me now, of how important it is to take more time to just say, I Love You. Because the time to say it, may be no more in the natural, but your spirit sees and hears, so you hear me now, you were loved and will be Greatly missed on earth! Now you have crossed from a place that was hard to a place of joy and peace. I'm sure our other loved ones were waiting on your arrival with Great Joy. So Bright, Shining, Light. Your work was hard and you endured the test of time on earth , so dance through eternity, and we shallmeet again. Take Forever to Dance with Aunt Betty because I'm sure she will always be dancing in Heaven!!!We all Love and miss you already. With Love your Adams Family

Condolence: I had the pleasure of being one of Robin's shipmates at the Naval Reserve Center in Bangor. She was always so cheerful and wanting to help out others. I am saddened at her passing on at such a young age.

Condolence: Our Dear Sweet Robin, the world has lost an angel but heaven has gained a wonderful one. I cherish the childhood memories and I always looked up to you and Mitzie as I felt you were both so beautiful and I wanted to look like either one of you. Your eyes always sparkled and I can not recall anything but a smile on your face. I remember wanting to have long black hair like you while we played on that navy blue coach at grandma Adams house. We always had fun. I am thankful we kept in touch across the miles via facebook and I thank you for helping so many animals in need. You will be sadly missed but an angel above now to help our furry friends. In your honor I donated to the Bangor Humane Society as I know how much you loved animals and I do too! You will never be forgotten and forever missed until we meet in heaven dear Cuz!! Tell Grandma Adams,Grandma Graham, Aunt Betty, Uncle Rodney, Uncle Lloyd, and Aunt Blanche you are delivering hugs and kisses from me and my family. XOXOX

Condolence: To the family and friends: I am truly sorry for the loss of your adoring Robin. She and I were classmates at Brewer High and were friends during that time, but sadly we lost touch after graduation. Many have told me what a beautiful heartfelt lady she was. May you find constant love and solace in knowing how deeply she touched the hearts of others as well as your own. Hold close the cherished memories that bring you everlasting moments of comfort and peace.
