The Memorial Candle Program has been designed to help offset the costs associated with the hosting this Tribute Website in perpetuity. Through the lighting of a memorial candle, your thoughtful gesture will be recorded in the Book of Memories and the proceeds will go directly towards helping ensure that the family and friends of Robin Rie can continue to memorialize, re-visit, interact with each other and enhance this tribute for future generations.

Loveable Quirkyness

What to say about Robin!!  I met Robin while waiting for a city bus at Bangor Community College.  We struck up a conversation then and there that never ended.  She had won two free meals at a restaurant in Bangor and invited me to join her - Our journey began there.  That was 1979.  I always loved Robin for all her "quirkyness" - The way she dressed!  (She once showed up for dinner with orange pants on.)  Her furniture choices - She had a church pew in her apartment.  Her great love of a good deal i.e. yard sales, a large plastic pig!  The quirks are endless as well as loveable.  She was a great friend for so many years not only to me but my whole extended family as well.  I am so sad to lose her but so grateful to have known her.
