Bom-Wrapper

The Memorial Candle Program has been designed to help offset the costs associated with the hosting this Tribute Website in perpetuity. Through the lighting of a memorial candle, your thoughtful gesture will be recorded in the Book of Memories and the proceeds will go directly towards helping ensure that the family and friends of Bruce Arnold can continue to memorialize, re-visit, interact with each other and enhance this tribute for future generations.

Thank you.

Condolences

Condolence From: MSCM(SW)Charles Arnett USN Retired
Condolence: My condolence to BTCM Arnold's Family. I met Bruce while I was working at the Bangor Commissary. We were both retired from the Navy. We shared a lot of sea stories together and became good friends. Although He always called Me a rookie, Because he made Master Chief before I did. He was a Sailor's Sailor. Fair Winds and Following Seas for a great Chief. Who will be missed by all who knew with Him.

Condolence From: Rod and Toni Terry
Condolence: If there is a secret to living a good life it is the thing Bruce did exceptional well; help someone along the way. Bruce certainly helped as part of the original St Regis LPD Boiler House crew at the Costigan Stud Mill,in 1974,get the plant up and running and keep it running. During this time he got the nick name "Bad A--", which he nurtured to hide his caring side. There are people we meet along the way that make a difference; Bruce was certainly one of these! I envision Bruce's only disappointment with Heaven will be the absent of a fossil fuel power plant. RSP old friend and thanks for the help, Rod.

Condolence From: Jim Contino
Condolence: Offering sympathy and encouragement to the Master Chief's family. He was one of a kind. A unique mix of duty and transparency. After the mills closed I remember he went back to school and kept on going. Not sure if it was unfinished business or a personal quest - probably both. I know he found true peace and happiness in those years before his illness. Rest in peace Bruce - you will be missed.
