Condolence From: Judy Hanscom
Condolence: Barbara was among the most influential of my professional mentors. There wasn't a challenge she believed I could not meet or a door she was not willing to open for me. Her legacy includes innumerable home economists and family and consumer science professionals near and far. I was so fortunate to have her guidance and enthusiastic support during my professional wanderings. Memories of her strength and "presence" continue to be among my most dear.
