The Memorial Candle Program has been designed to help offset the costs associated with the hosting this Tribute Website in perpetuity. Through the lighting of a memorial candle, your thoughtful gesture will be recorded in the Book of Memories and the proceeds will go directly towards helping ensure that the family and friends of Thomas J. Davis, Jr. can continue to memorialize, re-visit, interact with each other and enhance this tribute for future generations.

Thank you.

Condolence: Having had the pleasure to serve with Commissioner Davis over the past three decades at Penobscot County, I valued his presence for not only his wisdom and commitment to his constituents but for his humor and commanding presence. Whenever Tom weighed in it was in our best interest to listen. He did more behind the scenes to help others succeed than any other person I know. Being one of those people I am deeply saddened by his passing; and extend our condolences to Muriel, Tommy and the extended close knit family.

Condolence: Muriel and family, I am so sorry for your loss. Tom was quite an icon in government! Thanks for being a part of my community family raising....you were such a great part of the community. And I am sorry I didn't even know Tom was sick. He stopped by the house collecting signatures for an issue when ma was still alive....since I am much older I had to identify which daughter I was. Tom made this community a great place to grow up. He will be sadly missed but he has left a legacy! I love driving by the farm every morning and evening. I will never forget you all....and my heart goes out to you. Much love, Vicki J. Sodermark
