My Albie

When I first met Albie I thought he is a "cranky" old man! I grew to love and respect his knowledge and father figure. He was such a love and loved to share stories and was a GREAT roommate for another resident. I saw the obit pic and the man had not changed a wit since except the white hair. He kept a sharp eye on us and was outspoken about his opinions of caring about others. He was like a father to me....cause I already lost my dad. His daughter, Louise, was there a lot by his side. She would set me straight about her dad! A CHIP OFF THE OLD BLOCK! Albie had a big heart and I miss coming to work in the morning and saying, "Hi albie, or mornin Albie. There always special people who enter our lives and make a difference and Albert/Wes was one of them....but to me he will always be Albie and I wish I could have been therre to kiss an give him support while he passed. He is an icon in many ways and his legacy will live on and I will never forget him because he has a piece of my heart.
