Earlene G.  Beckett (Giles)
Brewer - Earlene R. Beckett, 89, died April 26, 2018 at a Brewer nursing facility. She was born March 5, 1929, in Lawrence MA., the daughter of Earle G. and Eileen (Reardon) Giles.

Earlene acquired her grammar school education at Haverhill MA, and graduated from Stoneham Massachusetts high school, Class of 1948.

Earlene came to the Bangor from Connecticut in 1979, at which time she became employed at St. Joseph Hospital, Bangor, and retiring in 1989.

She was an avid reader of true stories. Earlene enjoyed writing, embroidering, and traveling throughout the United States and Canada. She was a member of the Eagles Club of Brewer, and of St. Joseph Catholic Church in Brewer.
Earlene is survived by two children; son, William Beckett and his wife, Denise, of Cheshire, CT, and daughter, Carol Porsch and her husband, Steven, of Meriden CT; five grandchildren, three great grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.
