Condolence: I am so sorry to hear about Margo's passing. I worked at WLBZ TV in the 70's and Margo was manager. She always had a smile and great personality. She really knew how to get things done. I was very blessed to knew her.
My thoughts and prayers are with you, Brenda, and your family. May all the happy memories you shared with your Mom, bring you to a peaceful healing place.

Condolence: Goodbye to my friend. Many years ago Margo and I became friends through our children who were school mates and best of friends. Margo was a TRUE friend and I enjoyed her humorous and witty self. We continued to speak over the years and remained friends. Margo brightened my life; we shared many laughs and she will be missed.

Condolence: My sympathy to Margo's family. Aside from being a genuine pioneer, natural leader, and an over all fine lady, she always found a reason to have a cake and gathering at WLBZ. She was our bright spot-always. It was an honor to work under Margo's leadership.

Condolence: Margo hired me at WLBZ news in 1979, and as Bill Green observed, the fact that the station was run by a woman did not seem unusual to meat all. That's because Margo Cobb was a natural leader, who knew when you needed a kick in the pants, but was also extraordinarily generous in her support for the work you were doing. She helped us understand our duty to the community. I'll never forget Margo's kindness and encouragement, and the way she made Channel 2 a fun place to work

Condolence: Margo was a dynamic, talented leader as well as a terrific person. Her energy, humor, skill, and yes, toughness made her formidable and fun. I've often thought of her over the years, and in owning my own company I frequently tried be be guided by "What would Margo do?" No one else could do it as well, though. I'm grateful to have known and worked for her, and I extend my condolences to all.

Condolence: Margo was both a friend and a boss. And the best person I ever worked for. She was tough, she was smart and, like Bill said, competitive. She was demanding at times. But she was also tolerant (mostly) of our mistakes, and a tireless cheerleader to all of us, as a team, to do more. We always knew Margo " had our backs" if problems arose. At the same time, she was always ready to let us try new things...push the local TV limits. We did that with canoe races, live remotes and, of course, Cascade Park! So many memories of doing theater ( what a pro!), lighting downtown trees at Christmas and even a few parties. On top of all that, she was a great role model for the young women at the station...and for the men, too. Thanks, Margo, for all of it. You made your community better, and you made us better.

Condolence: Margo was so good to me. We worked together when she was in sales and I was in production. She mentored me as she became Sales Manager and I became the Sportscaster. She directed me when she became Station Manager. She was a great boss, energetic, intelligent and highly competitive. She was a pioneer broadcaster who knew the business on both sides of the camera. She was also a pioneer among women in management although her "ascension as a woman" was no issue as she was simply a leader. I'm very glad and very lucky to have worked with Margo. My condolences to Brenda, Margo, Phillip, Michele and their families.
