The Memorial Candle Program has been designed to help offset the costs associated with the hosting this Tribute Website in perpetuity. Through the lighting of a memorial candle, your thoughtful gesture will be recorded in the Book of Memories and the proceeds will go directly towards helping ensure that the family and friends of Geraldine Douglas can continue to memorialize, re-visit, interact with each other and enhance this tribute for future generations.

Thank you.

Condolence: I am sorry to read of Mrs. Douglas passing. May God's promise of a paradise, where no one will say "I am sick", where death will be no more and where we will be reunited with our dead loved ones who are in God's memory, be a source of comfort to you. Condolence: My Aunt Gerry was an amazing woman. I have the most precious memories of our families sharing summer at the lake. Gerry had the driest wit and the sharpest sense of humor. She was alway ready to laugh and share her thoughts and hugs. Even though many years have passed, I can still hear her voice, her accent and the lauighter bubbling underneath her words. She will be remembered with warmth and joy. My mother shared her admiration for her oldest sister with me throughout our lives. My thoughts are with you both, Lori and Richard. As with my mom, Phyllis, we were given the most precious gift of mothers who were insperations. Keep her alive through your stories and memories. She will always be a part of us. My thoughts are with you. Barb

Condolence: To Gerry's Family,

I am so sorry for your loss. I met your mom when I was working at UMF, her alma mater. She and I were both home EC majors, so had a lot in common. We'd meet for lunch many times in Bangor, and it was wonderful to hear her many stories about her college days and friends.

She'd also share many endearing stories about your dad and you kids - she loved you so, and was so proud.

I hope your own cherished memories help ease the pain of your loss; she was a special, beautiful lady!
