The Memorial Candle Program has been designed to help offset the costs associated with the hosting this Tribute Website in perpetuity. Through the lighting of a memorial candle, your thoughtful gesture will be recorded in the Book of Memories and the proceeds will go directly towards helping ensure that the family and friends of Richard Cohen can continue to memorialize, re-visit, interact with each other and enhance this tribute for future generations.

Butch and I were best friends during junior and senior high school. I have so many fond memories of Butch and his family (checking on the bread dough temperature in the early morning hours, fishing with he and his dad, his mother's cabbage rolls, a serious crush on his beautiful sister Mary, listening to Bill Cohen's college basketball games on the radio,on and on). I was so fortunate to visit with Butch when I attended my 50th high school reunion in 2012. I am so sad he is no longer with us but comforted that his long struggle is over. I wish that I had the opportunity to meet his wife and children. My condolences to you all. Alan....
