Dear Pastor Sedgwick,
We so much wanted to be with you today to say good-bye to your wonderful wife Joy and to offer you our love, support and condolences. We remember Joy's effervescent smile and her character that reflected so well the love and grace of Christ our Savior. We'll never forget the first time you took us to the pizza place in Orono. We felt such acceptance from both of you since we were new to the community and as westerners new to the northeast, Ayuh! Both of you modeled for us what it means to be an under-shepherd and wife to the flock under your care. Thank you for your love, mentoring and encourgement through the years. We are looking forward to the day when we see Joy , the way she was always meant to be, in heaven for eternity. The old Mastercard ad "Some things are priceless" - well Joy was indeed priceless and a real treasure to us. We are praying for you and your family.
Love Mike and Mary
