William Brown

NEWBURGH - William Neil "Will" Brown, 61, passed away unexpectedly July 17, 2025, at his home. He was born May 6, 1964, in Brockton, Massachusetts, the son of John and Amy (Hogg) Brown.

Will grew up in Middleboro, Massachusetts and graduated from Middleboro High School, Class of 1982 and married Tracy Blackman in 1984, having celebrated 41 years together in June, 2025. He moved with his family from Middleboro to Newburgh, Maine in 2003. He was self-employed as an electrical contractor and was a master at his trade. He loved spending time with his family, farming with draft horses and growing an extensive vegetable garden.

Surviving, in addition to his wife, Tracy (Blackman) Brown, are his children, Cody, Austin, and Tabitha Brown, of Newburgh and Amy Brown, of China, Maine; four siblings, Brenda Shinskey and her husband, Michael, Julie Gosson and her husband, Donnie, Peter Brown and his wife, Cheryl, all of Massachusetts, and Robert Brown and his wife, Judy, of Connecticut; several nieces and nephews; and his beloved dog, Ozzy. Will was predeceased by his parents, John and Amy and a niece/goddaughter, Rachel Pelletier, of Massachusetts.
