Vincenzina Lynch

VEAZIE - Vincie "Vicky" Lynch, 98, passed away January 19, 2026, at Maine Veterans' Home, Bangor. She was born July 12, 1927, in Holyoke, Massachusetts, the daughter of James and Josephine (Ramondetta) Cartabona.

Vicky married Raymond J. Lynch Sr. and together, they celebrated 60 years of marriage. In 1959, they moved from Massachusetts to Bangor where Raymond worked in the insurance business and Vicky worked for Sears Roebuck, in Downtown Bangor. In 1961, they moved to Presque Isle to start a new business, Northern Maine Moving and Storage and where they raised their two sons through high school. After the boys left for college, Vicky and Raymond relocated back to Bangor to continue the growth of the family moving and warehouse business where Vicky served as the office administrator and bookkeeper for several years. They both were able to retire and enjoy travel and family. Vicky was proud to be the recipient of the Boston Post Cane, as the oldest living citizen of Veazie.

In addition to her parents, Vicky was predeceased by her husband, Raymond; brother, Joseph and sisters, Ann and Nancy. She is survived by her sister, Lee; sons, Ray (Sandy), of Veazie, Robert (Rene), of Macomb, Michigan; grandchildren, Ryan Lynch, Sherry Williams, both of Veazie, Rachel Vitale, Robert and Scott Lynch, all of Michigan and eleven great-grandchildren.

A graveside service will be held at 1:00p.m., Friday, April 17, 2026, at Mt. Hope Cemetery, Bangor; people are encouraged to meet at the Superintendent's Lodge, 1048 State St., Bangor just prior.
