Terry Sylvester, 67, passed away unexpectedly on Halloween, one of her favorite holidays, at her home in Exeter. She was born on April 4, 1958 in Bangor, the daughter of Sterling and Leone (Braley) Turner.
Terry was a beloved wife, Nana, Auntie, sister, and friend. She had a heart of gold and helped all those in need, often volunteering her time for various causes. She was quick to offer help, and a sassy response. Terry made friends everywhere she went. She will be missed by all those who knew her from her time working at local stores. She enjoyed gardening and time spent in nature. She was very creative and excelled in many crafts. She loved time spent with family, especially the holidays, where she could be found cooking her family's favorite dishes.
In addition to her parents, Terry was predeceased by her mother-in-law, Jennie Sylvester; as well as many aunts, uncles, brothers-in-law. She is survived by her loving husband of 25 years, Wyatt Sylvester; sons, Jason Jewell and his partner, Rose, and Jeremy Jewell and his wife, Erica; step-children, Susan Olson and her husband, Eric, Stephen Sylvester, Craig Sylvester and his wife, Kristine, and Danielle Sylvester; thirteen grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; sisters, Ronda Dalton, Bonnie St. Louis, and Connie Laughlin; father-in-law, Harrison Sylvester; special cousin, Linda Colbath; many cousins, nieces and nephews; as well as her beloved dog, Otis
A Celebration of Terry's life will be held at 11am on Saturday, November 8, 2025 at Crane Brothers Farm, 2314 Exeter Road, Exeter.
