Terry D. Grant, 79, died on December 21, 2025, at home surrounded by his family. He was born on April 5, 1946, in Bangor, the son of Burnett L. and Dorothea (Higgins) Grant.
Terry was a lifelong resident of the Corinth community, where he was known for his strong work ethic, generosity, and unwavering dedication to those around him. He spent his early childhood living at Green Lake until the age of six, when his family moved to the West Corinth Road, a place he built his legacy, where his family could stay close by.
At the age of 19, Terry experienced the loss of his father, a defining moment that shaped his character and sense of responsibility. Following his father's passing, he took over the family sand and gravel business, widely known as B.L. Grant & Son, proudly carrying on the work with determination and pride.
Terry was a member of the Kenduskeag Lodge No. 137, Northern Masonic Jurisdiction, USA, and Anah Shriners for over 55 years.

He also enjoyed a friendly game of poker, with great company and family. Terry was also a frequent flyer at the local Corinth Auto Parts, Ware-Butler, and local Dunkin runs several times a day. If you couldn't find him at the mentioned locations, you could always find him in his garage hard at work.
Above all else, Terry's greatest joy was his family. He shared 54 years of marriage with his beloved wife, Valerie. Together, they created a strong foundation of love, devotion, and support that shaped their family and guided generations. She was a loving and steadfast wife who cared for her husband with unwavering compassion and dedication until his passing.
Terry cherished making memories with his three children and their spouses. He took immense pride in his eight grandchildren and his great-granddaughter. Sunday family dinners were especially meaningful to him, a treasured tradition where stories were shared, laughter was abundant, and generations gathered around the table.
Terry was deeply committed to his community. A testament to his dedication and reliability, he faithfully plowed for the Town of Corinth for the past 60 years. His commitment to the town went far beyond his work-he was always willing to lend a hand to anyone in need and was a steady, dependable presence in the lives of many.
Terry will be remembered for his kindness, strong sense of duty, deep love for his family, and lifelong service to the Town of Corinth. His legacy lives on through the family he cherished and the community he faithfully served.
