Steven James O'Day

BRUNSWICK - Steven James "Steve" O'Day, 51, died unexpectedly February 21, 2026, at his residence. He was born April 4, 1974, in Bangor, the son of Raymond L. and Rita E. (Dircksen) O'Day.

Steve graduated from Brewer High School, Class of 1993. He then graduated from the University of Maine, Orono, Class of 1998. He was currently working as an electrical engineer for General Dynamics in Bath, Maine, until his passing.

In addition to his parents, of Brewer, Steve is survived by his sister, Carol Arey and her husband, Edward, of Bangor; nieces, Mariah and Colleen, of Bangor and several aunts, uncles and cousins.

Relatives and friends are welcome to call from 6-8p.m., Saturday, March 7, 2026, at Brookings-Smith, 133 Center St., Bangor. A private graveside service will be held in the spring. Condolences to the family may be expressed at BrookingsSmith.com.
