Rosalyn Dale Velazco, 74, passed away July 13, 2014, at a Brewer, ME, healthcare facility. She was born September 13, 1939, in Cambridge, OH, the daughter of Russell and Margaret (Callihan) Reed.
Rosalyn was a graduate of Miami University in Oxford, OH (Class of 1961). She touched many lives as a social service worker and as a job training councilor for Butler County, OH until her retirement. She enjoyed birding, fly fishing, gardening, and a favorite hobby was collecting Cambridge glass. Rosalyn was a member of the United Methodist Church of Oxford, OH. She was a devoted wife, mother, daughter, and grandmother and will be sadly missed by her family.
She is survived by her loving husband of 53 years, David Velazco; a son, David M. Velazco of Dallas, PA; two daughters, Susan Geyer and husband Michael of Hamilton, OH, Jenny Lowe and husband Kevin of Cincinnati, OH; four grandchildren, Skyler, Tanner, Mandy, and Andrew.
