Richard P. St.Louis

Brewer, Maine - Dick was born in Bangor, Maine, December 4, 1935, the youngest of 13 siblings, to Gladys (Bouchard) St. Louis and Leo St. Louis. He died July 31, 2026, at the age of 90.

He grew up in Carmel, Maine, and attended Carmel schools. After high school he joined the Air Force. He married his childhood sweetheart in 1956. He was stationed in Lincoln, Nebraska, for seven years and Limestone, ME, for two years. Together they had four sons, Ricky, Gary, Randy, and Robert. Dick returned from the Air Force in 1963 and worked for Soule Glass for several years. In 1972 he owned Dick's Variety Store in Brewer, ME, and later Dick's Glass in Brewer. In 1995 he took a job with Sunrise Glass, where he retired from in 2001. His favorite time was when he owned and raced horses. His hobbies were bowling, camping, coin collecting, snowmobiling, playing cards, playing bingo, and going to Foxwoods Casino. Dick had an extremely big heart and was well known for his acts of generosity. Dick had countless friends from all aspects of life - too many to mention by name. He was a devoted husband, father, grandfather. He will be missed by a lot of people.

He is survived by his wife of 70 years, Donna; children, Gary St. Louis and wife, Jane, of Damascus, MD, Randy St. Louis of NY, NY, Robert St. Louis and significant other, Lisa Leavitt, of Carmel, ME; eight grandchildren, Nicholas St. Louis of Otis, Ashley St. Louis of Brewer, ME, Nicole St. Louis of Damascus, MD, Justin St. Louis of Mt. Airy, MD, Ben St. Louis of Mt. Airy, MD, Brook Taylor of Enid, OK, Adam St. Louis of Veazie, ME, and Josh St. Louis of Veazie ME. He has 13 great-grandchildren, Kaileigh, Brady, Sadie, Jackson, Cooper, Mia, Jake, Carson, Samantha, Lucy May, Rhilae, Ari, and Gavin. He was predeceased by his son, Rick St. Louis; eight sisters and four brothers; his mother and father; and his mother-in-law and father in-law, Vera and Carroll Russell.
