Richard Potter

ORRINGTON, MAINE - Richard L. Potter, 76, passed away peacefully Monday, October 6, 2025, at a local hospital. He was born, February 5, 1949, in Bangor, the son of Gilbert Richard and Cecile Mary (Plourde) Potter.

Richard grew up in Holden, Maine and attended Brewer High School and played football. He was an honored and proud member of the Exiles MC for over 50 years, holding many offices throughout his tenure.

Richard was a Mason by trade and a member of the Brick Layer's Union. He went out on his own and owned and operated T-Pot Masonry until his retirement.

Richard is survived by his son, James Potter and his wife, Elizabeth and family, of Orrington, Maine; his committed partner of 18 years, Marilyn Pokey Gray, of Orrington; bonus-daughter, Mandy Pomeroy and her husband, Nick, of Glenburn, Maine; a large, extended family and many club brothers and close friends.

A memorial service will be held at 1:00p.m., Tuesday, October 21, 2025, at the Brewer Chapel of Brookings-Smith, 55 S Main St, Brewer, Maine. Condolences to the family may be expressed here, at BrookingsSmith.com.
