Radhakrishna (Krishna) Jamadagni, 50 years, of Bangor, Maine, passed away on February 21, 2026, leaving behind a legacy of warmth, generosity, and genuine connection.

Known for his gregarious nature, Krishna was always ready to lend a helping hand to anyone who needed it. He had an extraordinary ability to make friends and always went the extra mile to make people around him comfortable. He never met a stranger and never missed an opportunity to meet his friends and often went out of the way (literally and figuratively) to keep in touch. His laughter was easy, his smile constant, and his presence unforgettable.

What truly defined Krishna was his generosity. He gave freely his time, his attention, and his resources, often extending kindness to people he had just met. Whether offering a helping hand, sharing a meal, or simply listening when someone needed to talk, he made others feel valued and welcome. His instinct was always to include, to uplift, and to give.

He completed his medical education at Shri B M Patil medical Center in Bijapur, Masters in Public Health in University of Idaho, completed Masters in Medical Devices from University of Minnesota. He played a key role in the initial years of Maine Multicultural Center welcoming people from various backgrounds and helping them assimilate in a home away from home.

Krishna had a fascination with cutting-edge technology and often had the latest gadgets. He helped design a digital stethoscope that could transmit a patient's data directly to their physician, aiming to improve care for people in rural communities-a project he was deeply passionate about. He was very well informed on a wide range of topics, showing his breadth of intellectual curiosity.

Above all else Krishna was an incredibly dedicated and loving father and was committed to his family. He is survived by his wife Resmi Rajan, his 2 boys Ved and Tirth, his parents Shailaja and Suresh Jamadagni, his sister Kanchan, brother-in-law Sanjeev and nephews Archit and Akshobh.

A gathering to honor and celebrate Krishna will take place on Saturday, March 28, from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Family Reception Center of Brokings-Smith, 163 Center St., Bangor, Maine. Krishna is a light that the world lost too early and will be deeply missed and fondly remembered by his family, friends and all the people whose lives he touched. Everyone is warmly invited to join us for this special time of devotion, remembrance, and community as we celebrate Krishna together.
