HAMPDEN - Priscilla Evelyn (Teague) Smith, 94, passed away February 27, 2026, surrounded by her family in Bangor, Maine. She was born in Winterport, Maine on July 29, 1931; the oldest of six children, born to Nicholas William Teague and Madelyn Elizabeth (Dibblee) Teague.
Priscilla is survived by her children, Raymond Smith, Ronald Smith, Bryan Smith, Peggy MacLeod and Daniel smith; brother, Vinal Teague and several grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her beloved eternal companion, Fred Smith, who passed away in 2001; sons, Steven Allen and Fred Vinal Smith; grandchildren, Reuben Reginald and Samantha Dyane and her siblings, David, Raymond, Basil, and Joyce.
Priscilla's greatest love was her family. She also loved traveling around Maine and showing places she lived and sharing stories about her family. She loved doing family history and attending family reunions.
Priscilla was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. She and her husband served a full-time mission in Nevada and in the Addiction Recovery program in Bangor, Maine. She constantly served and showed the love of the Savior through her actions and deeds.
She will be missed but never forgotten by those who truly loved her.
The family wishes to extend a special thanks to the staff at Ross Manor and Gentiva Hospice in Bangor.
Relatives and friends are welcome to call from 2-3p.m., Saturday, March 7, 2026, at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, 639 Grandview Ave., Bangor, Maine where a funeral service will be held at 3:00p.m. A private graveside service will be held in the spring, in Pleasant Hill Cemetery, Hermon.
