BANGOR - Peter R. Smith, 68, passed away unexpectedly August 5, 2026, at a local healthcare facility. He was born July 3, 1958, in Bangor, the son of Richard and Jeanette (Britts) Smith.
A longtime delivery truck driver for J.J. Nissan, Peter had a great passion for baseball, golf, and motorcycles.
Peter is survived by his sister, Paulette Lincoln, of Las Vegas, Nevada; Natasha West, whom he considered a daughter; niece, Angela Slicker and nephews, Paul Smith Jr. and Justin Lincoln. He was predeceased by his parents.
