Peter Dooey

BREWER – Peter R. Dooey, 80, passed away December 31, 2019, after a brief illness. He was born September 10, 1939, in Bangor, the son of Nelson H. and Barbara (Reynolds) Dooey.

Peter worked at Eastern Fine Paper for over 30 years. He and his wife, Shirley, enjoyed spending time at the family camp on Phillips Lake, as well as vacationing abroad with friends.

In addition to his parents, Peter was predeceased by his best friend and wife of 50 years, Shirley L. (Winchester) Dooey. He is survived by his daughters, Holly Dooey, Bridget Dooey and partner, Stephen Bodge; his sister, Prudie Hinds of Ocala, FL; nieces and nephew, Steve, Kelly, and Lynn, along with their families; and very special friends, Jeannie and Ken Schwabe.
