EDDINGTON - Paul Andrew Budge, 64, passed away peacefully at home on August 31, 2026, after a long illness. He was born December 4, 1961, in Bangor, the son of Dalton R. and Linda J. (Grey) Budge.

Paul graduated from Hermon High School, Class of 1980. In high school, Paul was a member of the Hermon Volunteer Fire Department and continued for a while after graduation, after which he served with the U.S. Army in Germany. Paul also worked as a welder at Bath Iron Works, as a carpenter, and most recently as an engineer with Bangor and Aroostook Railroad and Montreal Maine and Atlantic Railroad.

Surviving, in addition to his mother, Linda Burns, of Bangor, are his sisters, Jennifer Binger and her husband, Frank of Canton, Georgia and Rebecca Churchill, of Eddington; brothers, Jeffrey and his wife, Laurie, of Hermon and James, of Milford and many nieces and nephews. Paul was predeceased by his father, Dalton and also leaves behind his special cat, Abby.

Paul was an avid biker and shared very special connections with fellow riders from all over the country and, in particular, his friend, Brad Randall in North Carolina, who will gather for a celebration of life for Paul next spring in the Blue Ridge Mountains.
