Patricia E. Conners, 71, passed away peacefully January 12, 2016, in the Critical Care Unit of St. Joseph Hospital, Bangor. She was born February 20, 1944, in Bangor the daughter of Harland J. and Evelyn (Keene) Conners.
Patricia loved her time with all the caring staff with AMICUS/RLE (school) and attended there for many years. She loved her stuffed animals, and her favorite baby bear, and was comforted by them throughout her life. Over the years she was a client with Living Innovations. Patricia and her family are thankful for the care and compassion given by all the staff and care givers. One of her favorite things to do was trips to McDonalds Restaurant.
She is survived by her siblings; Natalie Husbey of Glenburn, Elizabeth McLaughlin and husband Donald of Bangor, Catherine Bryer of Clifton, Harland J. Conners Jr. and wife Regina of Bangor, Edward Conners and wife Rhonda of Hampden, and Sylvia Dwelley, with whom she lived, of Levant; many nieces and nephews, special friends, James Landers and wife Linda, and Beverly Bradford, and many other dear friends. In addition to her parents she was predeceased by a sister, Geraldine Bryer, and a brother Eugene Conners.
Friends may call from 10 – 11 AM, Monday, January 18, 2016, at Brookings-Smith, 133 Center Street, Bangor, where a Funeral Liturgy outside of Mass will be held at 11 AM. Followed by the Rite of Committal at Mt. Pleasant Catholic Cemetery. The family invites relatives and friends to share conversation and refreshments at the Family Reception Center of Brookings-Smith, 163 Center Street, Bangor, following the Rite of Committal.
