With broken hearts, we announce the passing of our precious baby boy, Oliver Westyn Delosa, who was born on February 17, 2026, and passed away on February 26, 2026.
Born at 32 weeks, Oliver proved from his very first breath that he was a fighter. During his time in the NICU, doctors discovered he had suffered severe and widespread brain damage. His injuries were extensive and would have prevented him from ever walking, talking, or eating on his own. Though his time on earth was brief, his life was filled with immeasurable love.
His mother, Kayla Spain, loved him with a depth that words cannot capture. She spent countless hours sitting faithfully by his side in the NICU, gently holding his tiny fingers and softly rubbing his head, cherishing every second. His father, Isaiah Delosa, stood strong and devoted, loving his son fiercely through every moment. Together, Kayla and Isaiah showed extraordinary strength, courage, and unwavering love during an unimaginable time.
Oliver is survived by his loving parents, Isaiah Delosa and Kayla Spain; his big sister, Autumn Delosa; his maternal grandparents, Ty and Heidi Spain; his maternal great-grandfather, Randi Spain; his aunt, Amethyst Merithew; his cousin, Adonis Stewart; his uncle, Trevin Spain; his paternal great-grandmother, Shirley Regan; and his grandparents, Krystal Delosa and Ben Foster.
He was welcomed into Heaven by his aunt, Shanley Leighton, and his maternal great-grandparents, Chris and Linda Kelleher.
In just nine short days, Oliver taught his family more about love, strength, and the fragility of life than many learn in a lifetime. Though his time here was brief, his impact is eternal. He will forever be cherished, forever remembered, and forever deeply loved.
Our sweet boy may have been small, but the love he leaves behind is immeasurable.
A private ceremony will be arranged for family and friends.
