Neal A. Crook
Bangor
Neal A. Crook, 72, passed away September 28, 2025 after a brief illness.
He was born in Bangor, June 22, 1953 the son of John A. and Josephine (Folsom) Crook.
Neal was a graduate of Brewer High School, class of 1972.
He worked for C.E. Noyes then Crescent Lumber for 18 years. He later worked for H.E. Sargent, Lane Construction and D & H Construction. Lastly he was employed by the City of Bangor, plowing snow at BIA.
Neal was predeceased by his parents and his best friend and partner, Cally Boulier.
Surviving are, his sister, Irene Chandler of Port Richey, FL; two nephews, Scott Corey of Waterboro, Jay Corey of Brockport, N.Y.; one aunt, Betty Renaud of Dover Foxcroft; special friends, Rich and Amy George of Bangor; and many cousins. His second family , Cally's children, Norman Boulier and his wife, Ann Marie of Hudson; Theresa Bissell of Bangor, Linda Young and her husband, Eric of West Gardiner, Bobbi-Jo Colbath of Levant. He was G-Pa to Cally's 11 grandchildren and 16 great grandchildren.
Relatives and friends are invited to call 5 pm to 7 pm Thursday, October 9, 2025 at Brookings-Smith, 133 Center St., Bangor. A graveside service will be held 1 pm Friday, October 10, 2025 at Waugh Cemetery, Union St., Levant.
