Nancy Mckay

FRANKFORT- Nancy Elaine McKay, 81, passed away peacefully June 24, 2021 at her home. She was born April 21, 1940 in Winterport, the daughter of Charles O., Sr. and Nelda M. (Glidden) Cole.

Nancy was a homemaker and family was everything to her. She loved the coast; especially Sears Island, Searsport.

In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her husband of 55 years, Jack McKay, Sr.; son, Anthony McKay; grandson, Jack McKay III; brothers, Charles “Sonny” Cole, Jr. and Reginald Cole; and sister, Norma Lavin.

She is survived by her children, Susan Seger and her husband, Robert, of Frankfort, Jack McKay, Jr. and his wife, Cindy, of Etna, Richard McKay and his wife, Jessica, of Winterport, Timothy McKay and his wife, Tracy, of Bangor, Terry Ripley and his wife, Lisa, of Searsport two special daughters-in-law, Samantha McKay, and Jeannie Gallant both of Frankfort; grandchildren, Gregory, Bruce, Jason, Dale Denise, Travis, Tabbitha, Jennifer, Danielle, Adam, Josh, Rebecka, Jonathan, Robert Jr., Kalie, Nicholas, and Cassandra; siblings, Katheryn, Lynda, Carlton, Sherry, and Sandra; 27 great-grandchildren, four great-great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.

A graveside service for Jack Sr. and Nancy will be held 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, June 30, 2021 at the Pilgrim's Home Cemetery, Haley Road, Monroe.
