It is with deep love and gratitude for a life beautifully lived that we remember Nancy L. Cole Klein, who passed March 3, 2026, peacefully at home with loved ones by her side. Born January 20, 1953, she was a remarkable woman whose greatest joy was the people she held close.
Some of her happiest memories came with open roads and endless horizons, riding cross-country on the back of a motorcycle with the love of her life, Arthur 'Art' Klein. For more than 40 years of marriage, they built a partnership rooted in devotion, laughter, and unwavering commitment. Even after Arthur's passing, the love they shared remained a guiding light in her life - a love story that continues to inspire all who knew them.
For a time, she and Art made their home throughout Texas, building memories that would last a lifetime and dedicating her working life to serving others as a home health aide - an extension of her selfless spirit. Eventually, her heart called her back to Maine, where family remained at the center of all she did and all she was. No matter where life took her, family was always her true north.
She is survived by her beloved mother, Margaret Robinson, with whom she shared an especially deep and treasured bond. Their connection was one of mutual love, respect, and understanding - a rare and beautiful closeness that was evident to everyone around them. That relationship was one of the cornerstones of her life.
Her life was defined not by grand gestures, but by quiet acts of love, steadfast devotion, and an unwavering commitment to family. Nancy is also survived by her brother, Gary Cole and his wife, Bonnie; along with many other loving relatives and dear friends. She will be deeply missed, forever remembered, and always cherished.
A graveside service will be held at 1pm on Wednesday, June 24th, 2026 at Sawyer Cemetery in Plymouth, Maine.
