Maxine Knowles

BANGOR – Maxine Pearl (Harding) Knowles, (74), wife of the late Maurice Knowles Sr., passed away March 30, 2019, at a Bangor hospital. She was born August 5, 1944, in Lincoln, the daughter of Ervin and Clara (McLaughlin) Harding.

In addition to her parents, Maxine was predeceased by a daughter, Melody; a granddaughter, Marissa, and a step-son, Donnie. She is survived by her three children, Maurice Knowles Jr. and wife Amber, Matthew Knowles and wife, Holly, Missy Pinkham and husband, Eddie; a son-in-law, Craig Ryan; a special nephew, Billy Knowles; 13 grandchildren and their families; a special brother-in-law, Merton Knowles; a brother, Ervin, and a sister, Margaret.

A memorial reception will be held 2-4p.m., Saturday, April 6, 2019, at the Family Reception Center of Brookings-Smith, 163 Center Street, Bangor. Interment for Maxine and her husband will be in Lakeview Cemetery, Glenburn, in the spring.
