Margaret Rose Youngblood, 84, passed away August 8, 2026 at her home, with her family by her side. She was born in Lubec, September 9, 1941, the daughter of Robert H. and Millicent F. (Lank) Allingham.

Margaret was a graduate of the Campobello Island Consolidated School and the Frederickton Business School.

She was employed with Bangor Savings Bank for many years.

Margaret was a member of St. Joseph's Ladies Auxiliary, Altrusa Club, the National Federation of Republican Women and she was a volunteer with Hospice of St. Joseph's. Margaret enjoyed bowling and was a member of a league.

Surviving are her husband, Edward Youngblood; two sons, Robert Cote and his partner, Louise Morin-Smith, and Mike Cote and his partner, Jeanne Kadlick; grandchildren, Allison Smith and her husband Aaron, Andrew Cote, Taylor Cote; bonus family, Leslie and Matthew Farrington and Mike and Jamie Youngblood; bonus grandchildren, Mathew and Angela Youngblood, Cassidy Youngblood, Emma Youngblood, Jana Farrington and Macy Farrington; great grandchildren, Nolan Smith and Gracelyn Youngblood.

A Liturgy Outside of Mass will be held 1 pm. Thursday, August13, 2026 at the Brewer Chapel of Brookings-Smith, 55 South Main St. Brewer, where relatives and friends are invited to call 12 noon until 1 pm.
