Marcelene “Marcie” Livengood, 86, died Sunday September 14, 2014 at a local nursing facility. She was born in Massachusetts on December 30, 1927. Marcie had a big heart and most of all she loved her God, Jehovah, his word, the bible, and his goodness. There was special appreciation in her heart for the beauty of creation, especially animals. She didn’t ever let her limitations keep her from accomplishing what she wanted to do. She was generous, always wanting to have something to give. She loved her friends and was a good friend to have. Marcie will be greatly missed. A memorial gathering to celebrate Marcie’s life will be held Friday September 26, 2014 at the Family Reception Center of Brookings-Smith 163 Center St., Bangor from 3:30pm – 5:30pm where a Talk will be given at 4:30pm.
