Lucille Agnes Hallsworth
Bangor
Lucille A. (Neville) Hallsworth, 92, went to be with her Lord and Savior and reunite with her family in heaven. She was born in Watertown, N.Y., February 4, 1922, daughter of Charles R. and Agnes C. (Smythe) Neville.
In the 1940’s she lived in N.Y. City, and worked supporting our military during WW II. In 1952 she married Fred and they raised six children.
Lucy was a devout member of St. Mary’s Catholic Church for 55 years. She was a devoted military wife, loving mother, grandmother and great-grandmother, and her greatest joy was spending time with her family.
Lucy loved road trips and had many happy memories of trips to New York, Colorado and Florida. She loved crossword puzzles, fashion, flowers and in earlier years loved Saturday night dancing with her husband and friends. Lucy was a stay-at-home mother for many years and worked for WLBZ radio and Civil Service at Dow AFB.

Surviving are her children, Mary Hicks, Barbara Fearon and her husband, Frank, Susan Shaw, Christine Hallsworth, Tom Hallsworth and his wife, Beth, and Teresa Hallsworth; twelve grandchildren and their spouses, ten great-grandchildren, and the family dog, Willie.
The family wishes to extend special thanks to the compassionate and caring staff of Beacon Hospice and caregivers at New England Home Healthcare. Because of them and the devotion of her family, she was able to remain at home until she passed peacefully surrounded by her family.
Relatives and friends are invited to call 6-8 p.m. Wednesday, October 8, 2014 at Brookings-Smith, 133 Center St. Bangor. A funeral Mass will be held 11 a.m. Thursday October 9, 2014 at St. Paul the Apostle Parish, St. Mary’s Catholic Church, 768 Ohio St. Bangor, followed by the Rite of Committal at Mount Pleasant Catholic Cemetery, Bangor. Following the burial, the family invites all to a reception at St. Mary’s Parish Hall.
