Linda Frances Webb passed away peacefully on September 10, 2026 at the Maine Veterans Home, Bangor. She was born on February 22, 1944 in Bangor, Maine the daughter of the late Fred and Vera (Goodell) Patterson.

Linda was a descendant of Hampden founders and grew up in Hampden with many aunts, uncles and cousins. She graduated from Hampden Academy the class of 1962 and went on to attend nursing school. In 1969 she married the love of her life Daniel Webb of Limestone. They lived in Caribou up until 1971 and then returned to settle in Hampden where together they raised 5 children.

In 1976 Linda and Danny opened their first business venture Webb's Auto. They later made the transition into the recreational vehicle business and began Webb's RV Center. Linda was very adventurous often taking several teens on long camping trips all by herself. She was fearless when it came to the open road driving to and from Alaska where she and Danny lived for many summers in their beloved Soldotna, Alaska home spending long summer days fishing on the Kenai river. Florida was also very special to Linda and Danny as they owned serval homes in Florida throughout the years spending winters there, enjoying the beach. Linda loved to travel. She visited many different countries all over the world. Linda was an avid quilter crafting the most beautiful quilts all handmade. Her love for sewing even brought her to Australia for a quilting convention, one of her most memorable trips. A passionate reader, she found great joy losing herself in a book, whether at home reading before bedtime or on her many travel adventures. Linda loved to travel afar but her heart always remained in her home state of Maine especially Mt Desert Island. Her summer was never complete until she visited Jordan Pond house.

Linda was a very loyal person and friend to many and always looked on the bright side of things. She dedicated many years of her life practicing the 12 steps and was a grateful member of the fellowship founded by Lois W. Linda had a wonderful sense of humor and laughed a lot. A laughter that will be sadly missed by her family and friends.

She is survived by her loving husband Daniel, her daughter Deirdre (Mark) Webber, her sons John (Martha) Doyon, David (Brandy) Webb and Cash (Lynn) Webb; 15 grandchildren; 8 great- grandchildren; sister- in -law, Cheryl Legassey and her niece Patricia Patterson-King.

Linda was predeceased by her brother, Searle Patterson and her son Michael Webb.

The family would like to thank the staff at the Maine Veteran's Home, for the care and compassion they provided. A special thank you to Shannon for spending many days with Linda.

Relatives and friends are invited to call 4 pm to 6 pm Thursday, September 17, 2026 at the Hampden-Gilpatrick Chapel of Brookings-Smith, 45 Western Ave., Hampden.

A graveside service will be held 1 pm Friday, September 18, 2026 at Lakeview Cemetery, Rte. 9, Hampden.
