Kelly Foster

Kelly 'Kel' Jean Foster, 56, passed away at a local facility on January 23, 2026 after a long and courageous battle with Early Onset Dementia. She was born on May 9, 1969, the daughter of Eugene and Elaine Foster.

Kelly graduated from Brewer High School, Class of 1987, with high honors before enrolling in Beal College where she studied to be a paralegal. She went on to work for two prestigious law firms in the area. Kelly loved dancing and flowers. She enjoyed learning to crochet with her sister, Kristen, which was quite a feat considering she was left-handed! She created beautiful art with her new-found talent. Kelly was empathetic and kind hearted, she had a beautiful smile and will be missed by all who knew her.

Kelly was predeceased by her father, Eugene Foster. She is survived by her mother, Elaine Foster; sisters, Kristen Foster and her partner, Johnny, and Karyn Foster and her partner, Darryl; brother, Keith Foster; nieces, Alyssa Brooks and her husband, Alex, and Sydney Smith; great-nephew, Easton Brooks; several aunts, uncles, and cousins; as well as her best friend, Michelle Thibodeau.

A memorial service will be held at 1pm, Saturday, January 31, 2026 at Brookings-Smith, 133 Center Street, Bangor. Relatives and friends are welcome to share conversation and refreshment at the Family Reception Center of Brookings-Smith, 163 Center Street, Bangor, following the service.
