Kathy Williams passed away on November 3rd 2025 after a 23 year battle with breast cancer. Never has anyone beat the odds over and over again, but she did, with dignity and monumental strength and courage.
Kathy was very successful in every endeavor she pursued. She studied education at UMO and eventually graduated Magna Cum Laude with a degree in Business from Husson College, which she acquired while working full time. She was a meticulous administrator for both ZF Lemforder Corporation and Northern Light Health Care, traveling throughout the country and Europe. Kathy's inherent principles would accept nothing but excellence, which drove her success and drove her husband crazy.
Kathy's most important priority was her children. She raised two sons into men who are thriving due to her nurturing, loving care and guidance. In recent years, Kathy had one place above all others where she always longed to be, on the sea. That was her love and passion which brought her great joy. Kathy was even known to take two-week cruises throughout the Caribbean by herself. She loved Bermuda, which she visited several times a year. She has requested that her remains be scattered at sea by her loving family on one of the ships that she so loved.
Kathy is survived by her husband, John Williams; her children, James Lunn and his wife Trysha, of Milford, Me., Christian Lunn and his wife, Dena, of Portland, ME.; her sister, Laurie Cormier and husband, Jeffrey, of Myrtle Beach, SC.; her nephews, John M Verardo of West Warwick RI., and Jacob S. Verardo of Providence, RI. Kathy was predeceased by her parents, Austin Quirion and Natalie J. McCarty; her brother, Scott (Owen) Quirion; and her nephew, Lucas A. Verardo. Kathy also leaves behind her precious grandchildren, Logan and Lucy Lunn.
She will be missed.
