Julie Gagnon

Julie Ann Gagnon, 49, passed away unexpectedly on July 8, 2025. She was born in Ohio on August 20, 1975, the daughter of Francis and Karen (Hitshew) Abbott. Julie grew up in a military family, travelling all over before settling in Orrington. She was a graduate of John Bapst before earning her Bachelors from University of Maine.

Julie loved her family, especially spending time with her children. She found peace at the ocean and could often be found painting shells or making various arts and crafts. She enjoyed sewing, travelling, and being with her fur-babies.

Julie was predeceased by her parents and grandparents. She is survived by her husband, Larry; two children, William and Hannah, who were her whole world; brother, Richard and his wife, Alison, their child, Haylee, sister, Michelle and her children, Eddie, Amber and Evan, sister, April and her son, Brad, sister, Sheri and her husband, John, their daughter, Sophia, sister, Heather, and her son, Micawber.

The family would like to extend a special thanks to Julie's care team.
