John Roach, Sr.

KENDUSKEAG – John H. Roach Sr., 64, passed away Tuesday November 19, 2013 at a Bangor health care center. He was born May 3, 1949 in Bangor, the son of the late James and Lauraine Roach. John was a hard worker and retired from Union Local #4 after twenty six of operating heavy equipment with Lane Construction. He was a member of the Bangor Elks Lodge #244, and enjoyed NASCAR and Speedway 95. He is survived by his wife Deborah D. Roach, ; three children, Alicia and Tina, John Jr,; two step children, Vicki and Michael; six grandchildren, Cody, Amber, D.C., Devin, Haley and Noelle, ;step grandchildren, Justin, James, and Gage, ;great grandchildren Jordan, and Jude, ;a sister Donna Goodine, ; a nephew Christopher, nieces, Melanie and Erica. A memorial service will be held 2 PM Friday November 22, 2013 at the Carmel Gospel Church. A service of Brookings-Smith, 133 Center St. Bangor.
