Jayne Lynne Mcewen

Jayne L. (Thibodeau) McEwen, 58, passed away April 27, 2021 after a long illness. She was born in Caribou, February 5, 1963 the daughter of Jerry P. and Janice (King) Thibodeau. Jayne was a graduate of Bangor High School class of 1981 and Husson College class of 1988 where she earned a B.S. in accounting. Following graduation she attained her CPA and went to work for K.P.M.G. Peat Marwick and subsequently with the City of Bangor and Dead River. In 1994-1995 Jayne became a stay at home mom and enjoyed watching her children grow up and follow in her foot steps in attending Husson University; her son Patrick earning his bachelors in accounting and an MBA there, and Chelsea earning a B.S. in nursing. She was predeceased by her father, and mother and father-in-law, Myrna and Russell McEwen. Surviving in addition to her mother are her husband, Richard “Rick” McEwen; two children, Patrick McEwen and Chelsea McEwen; grandson, Carter McEwen; sister, Jan Thibodeau; brothers-in-law, Mark McEwen and his wife Kim, Kevin McEwen and his wife Cindy, Rod McEwen and wife Robin; several nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins. The family would like to thank the staff of Orono Commons for their care and especially Debby Milliken for her many years of love and caring. The family invites relatives and friends to share conversation and refreshments 2 to 4 pm. Sunday May 2, 2021 at the Brewer Chapel of Brookings-Smith, Family Reception Rooms 55 South Main St., Brewer. A private graveside service will be held at Woodlawn Cemetery, Brewer.
