HAYNESVILLE AND HOULTON – Ivan L. Malone, 56, passed away July 22, 2014, with his family by his side. He was born June 20, 1958, in Houlton, the son of Lewis and Muriel Malone.
Ivan spent many years doing what he loved truck driving. He also enjoyed fishing, hunting, nascar and spending time with his grandchildren.
Ivan is survived by his wife Linda; daughters, Melissa and her fiancée, Thad, and Heidi and her boy friend, Matt; grandchildren, Aiden, Dawson, and Sophia; father, Lewis; sisters, Ella, Nellie and Judy; brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews, and great nieces and nephews. Ivan was predeceased by his mother; brother, Butch; sister, Carol; mother-in-law and father-in-law.
A graveside service will be held 1 p.m., Saturday, July 26, 2014, at the Riverside Cemetery, Haynesville. The family invites relatives and friends to share conversation and refreshments at the Hayesville Baptist Church, Route 2A, Haynesville, following the service.
