Georgia B. Blaisdell

Georgia B. Blaisdell, 95, passed away on June 12, 2025 at a Nursing Home in Bangor. She was born in her father's dental office in Ellsworth on January 7, 1930, the daughter of Virgil C. Blaisdell, DDS., and Mary Gertrude (Babbin) Blaisdell.

Georgia married Dale Small on May 21, 1949. They celebrated 19 years together and raised 6 children. She worked for many years at St. Mary Desert Valley Hospital in California and was a member of Twin City Baptist in Maine. Georgia believed you could never stop learning; she enrolled in night courses, everything from ceramics to engine repair. She loved learning about her ancestry, gardening, and spending time with her family.

In addition to her parents, Georgia was predeceased by a son, Arden Dale Small; and sister, Virginia Murray. She is survived by sons, Carey D. Small and Aaron C. Small; daughters, Cathy T. Small, Lorrene R. Small, Laurie A. Small; 19 grandchildren, 42 great-grandchildren; 37 great-great-grandchildren; 3 nieces; and 3 nephews.

A memorial service will be held at 12pm, Saturday, June 21, 2025 at the Twin City Baptist Church, 559 North Main Street, Brewer, ME.
