Gayle Foltz

BANGOR - Gayle J. Foltz, 88, passed away peacefully, surrounded by family August 16, 2025, at a local nursing home. She was born May 3, 1937, in Bangor, the daughter of Almon E. and Evelyn A. (Wade) Arnold.

Gayle grew up in Bangor, graduating from Bangor High School, Class of 1955. Shortly after, she attended Husson College, earning an Associates' Degree in Secretarial Science. In spite of her career, raising her children was her top priority.

In addition to her parents, Gayle was predeceased by her son, Michael Foltz and a grandson, Joshua Foltz. She is survived by her children, Jim Foltz and his wife, Carrie, Douglas Foltz and his wife, Denise and daughter, Michele Daudelin and her husband, Rusty; grandchildren, Joey, Kelly, Ashley, and Jordan; great-grandchildren, Chloe, Taylor, Joshua and Sherman; a large extended family and friends.

A graveside service will be held at 2:00p.m., Friday, August 22, 2025, in Snow's Corner Cemetery, Hermon. Condolences to the family may be expressed at BrookingsSmith.com.
