Fred Dickinson

Rev. Fred H. Dickinson Jr., 79, went to be with his Lord and Savior on December 26, 2021, at a Bangor hospital. He was born January 17, 1942, in Worcester, Mass, the son of Fred H. and Lucy H. (Rivernider) Dickinson.

Fred was a loving and devoted husband, father and poppa. He was the pastor of the East Bangor Community Church for over 31 years. Fred enjoyed the outdoors, gardening, fishing and more then anything spending time with his family.

He is survived by his loving wife of 40 years, Cathy (Lever) Dickinson of Corinth; children, Fred Dickinson III and wife Bonnie of Florida, Dana Lawrence and wife Paula of Bangor, Paul Dickinson and wife Melissa of Florida, David Lawrence of Bangor, Julie Dickinson of Bangor, Angel Cooper and husband James of Corinth, Daniel Dickinson and wife Cindy of Florida, Jennifer Badger and husband Ryan of Corinth, Ashley Smith and husband Jordan of Bangor, and Brittany Cushman of Bangor; a brother, William Dickinson and wife Louise of Mass; a sister, Mary Meyers of Florida; his special little fishing buddy Noah and many other loving grandchildren who he adored; many great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.
