Newburgh – Eva M. Scripture, 81, went to be with the Lord on January 25, 2017, peacefully, at a Brewer healthcare facility. She was born November 17, 1935, in Castine, the daughter of Walter H. and Sylvia M. (Lundvall) Brown.
As a teenager Eva worked at Bayside Lodge and Blake’s Camps. She graduated from Brooksville High School, class of 1953. She was a homemaker for her husband of 35½ years, Earle “Tony”, and her two children, Randy and Dale. She was devoted to her family and friends.
A graveside service will be held in the spring. Those who wish to remember Eva in a special way may make gifts in her memory to Brewer Rehab and Living Center, 74 Parkway South, Brewer, ME 04412.
