Elizabeth Vanidestine

BANGOR - Elizabeth "Betty" Vanidestine, 82, passed away June 8, 2025, at a local hospital. She was born July 19, 1942, in Frankfort, the daughter of Wallace and Dorothy (Knapp) Lockhart.

Betty was a loyal member of the Rebekah Lodge in Monroe as well as a member of the Grange for over fifty years.

Surviving Betty, are her son, Michael Vanidestine and his wife, Julie, of Christiansburg, Virginia; daughter, Sara Vanidestine and significant her other, Philip Conners, of Bangor; grandchildren, Allison Mannella and her husband, Michael, of Raleigh, North Carolina, Valerie Buckner and her husband, Buddy of Burke, Virginia, Shannon Vanidestine and her significant other, Adam Davis, of Hermon and Philip Vanidestine and his wife, Margaret of Bangor; nine great-grandchildren, and one great-great grandchild.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend a memorial service at 10:30a.m., Thursday, June19, 2025, at Brookings-Smith, 133 Center St., Bangor.
