Elizabeth C. Russell, President of Eastern Maine Community College, passed away September 21, 2025 at her home.

A service to celebrate her life will be held 11 a.m. Friday, October 3, 2025 at Brookings-Smith, 133 Center St., Bangor. The family invites relatives and friends to share conversation and refreshments at the Family Reception Center of Brookings-Smith, 163 Center St., following the service.

A full obituary will be published in Saturday's edition of the Bangor Daily News.
