Donna J. Larson

Bangor - Donna J. Larson, born on February 29, 1948, in Boston, Massachusetts, to Margaret Larson, passed away peacefully on December 23, 2025, surrounded by loved ones.

She grew up in Fort Kent, Maine, and proudly served in the United States Army for four years as an X-ray technician.

Donna was a devoted mother to Kellie (married to Scott Babcock) and Jason Hancock (married to Melissa Hancock) of Newburgh. She was the loving grandmother of five grandchildren: Hannah, Jeremiah, Emma, Katie, and Riley, all of whom she cherished with all her heart.

She had a deep love for nature and found joy in camping and watching eagles soar. Her adventurous spirit and appreciation for the outdoors were an inspiration to all who knew her. Donna’s kindness, strength, and love will be remembered forever by her family and friends.

A graveside service will be held at 11:00 a.m., Saturday, May 16, 2026, at Mt. Hope Cemetery, 1048 State St., Bangor. Condolences to the family may be expressed at BrookingsSmith.com
