In Loving Memory of Donald St. Louis Jr. (DJ)

1972-2026

DJ St. Louis, 54, passed away unexpectedly on October 30, 2026. He was born on May 28, 1972, in Bangor, the son of Donald A. St. Louis Sr. and Jane (Martin) St. Louis.

Born and raised in Hermon, Maine, where he graduated from Hermon High School in 1990. In high school, he played many sports, including basketball and soccer, and his passion, baseball. He was known to be an amazing pitcher. He also enjoyed camping and hunting with his friends and family.

In July 1998, DJ met the love of his life, Karla J. (McDonald) St. Louis. On April 24, 1999, he married her, his wife and best friend. They welcomed their daughter, Kelsey J. (St. Louis) Jolin, on September 14, 1999, and their son, Matthew D. St. Louis, on May 15, 2002.

DJ worked at many food distributors before starting Don's Wholesale Produce with his father and brother in 1996. He worked alongside his family there for many years. In July 2007, he joined Performance Food Group (PFG) Northcenter with his father and brother. He quickly excelled, becoming a top salesman who was loved by all his customers and colleagues.

DJ was an avid sports fan who loved watching the Boston Red Sox, Boston Celtics, and his beloved New York Giants. As his son grew up, DJ enjoyed coaching his baseball and basketball teams, making an impact not only on his son but also on the children he coached and their parents. Hunting was another passion he shared with family and friends. His father taught him to hunt, and DJ continued that tradition with his own son, also enjoying time hunting with friends.

DJ enjoyed camping with his parents and siblings growing up and continued that tradition into adulthood with his in-laws. His outdoor adventures also included many snowmobiling expeditions in Presque Isle with his friends and son, as well as side-by-siding everywhere with friends and family.

A true family man, DJ treasured his family and friends above all else. His door was open to all the people in his life: the garage was always open, and his phone was always on.

He is survived by many friends and family - Wife ,Karla (McDonald) St. Louis; his children: daughter, Kelsey (St. Louis) Jolin and husband, Andrew of North Carolina; son, Matthew St. Louis and special friend, Aviara (Avi) of Hermon; parents, Donald A.
